Tips for Fix or Repair Your Bad Credit
Do you need loans for various purposes such as buying car, house, electronic equipment, obtain credit card or even for business capital? So you need good credit, because if you have bad credit then certainly you will have a little chance of success.
What if I have bad credit and how to fix credit?
First thing you should do is find what is wrong with your credit by requesting credit reports directly from the credit bureaus. You need to do this because your credit report is containing all about the information you need to start repairing your credit.
After receiving your credit reports read all the information carefully and highlight what you need to repair, here is three things what you should highlight:
- The incorrect information such as accounts that aren’t yours and payments that have been incorrectly reported late,
- Past due accounts that are late, charged off, or have been sent to collections.
- Maxed out accounts that are over the credit limit.
Once you know what’s wrong on your report, you have right to dispute any of the claims that you find. If you think something is a mistake, if you feel you’ve been treated in an unjust manner – if you think you can win a dispute, nothing can stop you to repair your credit.
Next you should do is send a letter to the credit bureau about the detail of the inaccurate information including a copy of the report with incorrect information that you have highlighted.
After you’ve resolved the negative items on your credit report, work on getting positive information added. If you have some credit cards and loans being reported on time, good. Continue to keep those balances at a reasonable level and make your payments on time.
